Red Rock Technology FZ-LLC has committed $10 million to develop “Seedelligence,” an advanced artificial intelligence architecture aimed at strengthening global food security. The initiative supports the upcoming National Food & Seed Sovereignty Institute and its planned international expansion.

Unified AI ‘brain’ to power next-generation agritech systems

Unlike traditional agritech platforms, Seedelligence will function as a centralised intelligence system. It will integrate agricultural robotics, hydroponics, seed genetics, and environmental monitoring into one unified decision-making layer. As a result, the system will enable real-time optimisation across food production cycles, water usage, and energy efficiency.

Flagship institute to redefine food production in harsh climates

The National Food & Seed Sovereignty Institute aims to transform how nations produce and secure food. It focuses on climate resilience, resource efficiency, and supply chain independence. Its infrastructure will include robotic hydroponic farms, seed preservation labs, and a central AI command centre. Moreover, the entire system will operate within a closed-loop model designed for arid and semi-arid regions.

Scalable model for global and future space ecosystems

Importantly, the model is designed for global replication. Each system and process can scale across desert-edge cities worldwide. Seedelligence will serve as the core technology deployed across these future sites.

Looking ahead, the architecture also aligns with the needs of space-based food systems. It supports autonomous food production for potential lunar and Martian missions.

Collaboration and innovation at the core

The Institute will act as a global hub for agritech research and innovation. It will bring together scientists, engineers, and international partners working on climate-resilient food systems. Feasibility studies are currently underway with City Meta Lab. Pilot locations are being evaluated across sustainability-focused urban environments in the UAE.

Strengthening UAE’s position as a global food innovation hub

This initiative aligns with the UAE’s long-term vision for innovation-led growth. It also reinforces the country’s ambition to become a global leader in food security and advanced agriculture. Therefore, Red Rock Technology’s investment marks a significant step toward building resilient and future-ready food ecosystems.
