ALDAR has appointed Andrew Parker as Executive Director, Projects, AIP. The appointment was announced through Andrew Parker’s professional profile and marks his move to the Abu Dhabi based developer after four years with Red Sea Global.
In his new role, Andrew Parker will lead the delivery of strategic development projects across ALDAR’s investment and development portfolio. His responsibilities include overseeing project execution, governance and operational excellence.
Andrew Parker brings more than two decades of project delivery experience
Andrew Parker has more than 23 years of experience in construction delivery, programme management and contract administration. His background combines practical project leadership with legal expertise in construction law and arbitration. He also holds a Master of Laws in Construction Law and Arbitration and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
His project portfolio spans airports, industrial facilities, commercial developments and luxury hospitality projects across Europe, the Middle East, the Commonwealth of Independent States and Sub Saharan Africa. Throughout his career, he has worked for contractors, employers and consultancies, giving him experience across different stages of project delivery.
Previous leadership roles across the Middle East and international markets
Before joining ALDAR, Andrew Parker served as Project Director at Red Sea Global in Saudi Arabia between June 2022 and May 2026. During that period, he led the delivery of two luxury hotel developments on Shura Island. He also developed a construction management plan that became the corporate standard across Red Sea Global projects.
Earlier, Andrew Parker founded and led Manx International Associates, an independent construction claims consultancy. Before that, he served as Contracts Head at BUA Group, where he helped establish project delivery frameworks for major infrastructure and industrial developments across the group’s portfolio.
His previous experience also includes senior project management positions with Bovis Lend Lease, Dandara, Mace and Murray & Roberts. These roles covered major developments in Romania, Ukraine, Russia and the United Arab Emirates, including projects at Dubai International Airport and large scale residential developments in Dubai.
Role focuses on project delivery and governance
As Executive Director, Projects, AIP, Andrew Parker will oversee the delivery of strategic development projects within ALDAR’s investment and development portfolio. The role includes responsibility for project execution, governance and operational excellence across the portfolio.
The appointment adds an executive with extensive international construction and project management experience to ALDAR’s senior leadership team. His background includes programme delivery, contract management and operational oversight across complex development projects.
