GISMIC Group has appointed Khaled Amrani as Business & Operational Manager – Middle East. He will be based in Abu Dhabi and will lead the company’s regional growth strategy.

In this role, Amrani will expand technical assistance, inspection services, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) operations across the Middle East. The appointment supports GISMIC’s long-term expansion plans in the energy and industrial sectors.

Strategic Focus on Middle East Growth

The Middle East continues to invest heavily in energy, oil & gas, and infrastructure projects. Therefore, demand for inspection, compliance, and quality assurance services is rising steadily.

Amrani will focus on strengthening client relationships and improving operational performance. In addition, he will develop new partnerships across the UAE and the wider region. His leadership is expected to reinforce GISMIC’s position in a competitive inspection market.

Strong Industry Experience

Amrani brings more than 15 years of international experience in mechanical engineering, QA/QC inspection, and project management.

Before joining GISMIC Group, he spent over 13 years at Bureau Veritas. There, he served as Senior Project Manager and handled major inspection and compliance projects across France, the UAE, and the Middle East.

Earlier in his career, he held technical roles at AREVA and SEGULA Technologies. These roles strengthened his expertise in welding inspection, quality control, and industrial operations.

Leadership Backed by Global Exposure

Throughout his career, Amrani has worked on complex industrial assignments. He has managed cross-border teams and delivered projects under strict regulatory standards. As a result, he has built strong expertise in compliance-driven industries.

He has thanked GISMIC leadership, including Jean-Marc Chery, Aliona Escande, and Anna Sheikh Hassan, for their trust and support. He also expressed gratitude to his former colleagues and mentors for their guidance during his tenure at Bureau Veritas.

Driving Value for Clients

Speaking about his new role, Amrani highlighted his commitment to delivering measurable value to clients. He aims to combine operational excellence with strategic growth initiatives.

With Abu Dhabi serving as a regional industrial hub, this appointment marks an important step in GISMIC Group’s Middle East expansion strategy.

Industry observers note that strengthening leadership in inspection and NDT services is critical as regulatory frameworks tighten across the region. GISMIC’s latest appointment aligns with that trend.
