Granite MENA has appointed Paul Wallis as Chief Executive Officer, marking a decisive shift from startup momentum to structured, scalable growth.

Importantly, the move is not a mere title change. Instead, it reflects a deeper transformation in how the company operates and plans to expand.

From Startup to Scaled AI Platform

Over the past 12 to 18 months, Granite MENA has evolved rapidly. It transitioned from a high-growth startup into a more stable, scalable platform. This shift followed the integration of Versatile Synergy and the Disruption and Intelligence team from Continuous Ventures.

As a result, the company strengthened its enterprise and government partnerships across the Middle East.

At the same time, Granite launched TAAMAI. This AI-powered digital studio blends creative production with data intelligence and agentic AI systems. Consequently, it now forms a core part of the company’s commercial offering.

A New Operating Model Focused on Outcomes

Granite MENA no longer functions as a traditional digital agency. Instead, it operates as an AI-led commercial platform.

It combines data, content, and intelligent systems to deliver measurable business outcomes. Therefore, the company aims to create repeatable, high-margin growth systems rather than one-off campaigns.

Why Paul Wallis Was Chosen

Paul Wallis has played a central role in this transformation. As Co-Founder and former General Manager, he led early-stage growth and secured key telecom and enterprise partnerships.

Moreover, he built the operational backbone that now supports scale.

The company’s financial performance highlights this progress. Granite MENA generated multi-million-dollar revenue in its first year. It has already surpassed that run rate in Q1 2026, supported by a strong deal pipeline and increasing contract sizes.

Next Phase: Scale, Discipline, and M&A

With Wallis as CEO, Granite MENA is entering its next growth phase. The focus will now shift toward execution and efficiency.

Specifically, Wallis will:

  • Scale operations across markets
  • Strengthen operational discipline
  • Build repeatable, high-margin systems
  • Lead strategic mergers and acquisitions

As a result, the company will move from organic growth to a more structured, acquisition-led expansion model.

Leadership Vision for Global Relevance

According to Founder and Shareholder Colin Meagle, this transition marks a shift “from opportunity to structure.”

Meanwhile, Wallis emphasized the company’s long-term ambition. He noted that Granite was built on the idea that data, AI, and creativity can transform business growth. Now, the goal is to scale that foundation into a globally relevant platform.
