Andrea Bono has been appointed CEO of Marsh McLennan for India, the Middle East, and Africa (IMEA), effective January 2026. Based in Dubai, he will lead the company’s growth and innovation strategy across 14 key markets.
With this appointment, Andrea Bono will strengthen Marsh McLennan’s regional presence and align its expertise in risk, strategy, people, and consulting. His leadership focuses on growth through insight, technology, and collaboration.
Leading Growth Across a Fast-Evolving Region
Reporting to Flavio Piccolomini, CEO of Marsh McLennan International, Andrea Bono will drive commercial strategy and operational integration across IMEA. His role will focus on unifying Marsh McLennan’s specialized capabilities and enhancing value for clients.
Piccolomini said the region represents a major growth opportunity for the company. “Andrea’s leadership experience and his ability to help clients find opportunity in risk make him ideal for this role,” he stated.
A Career Built on Strategy and Collaboration
Andrea Bono brings more than 30 years of leadership experience. He began his career in London and joined Marsh Italy in 2010 as Head of Risk Management. Over the years, he has held several senior positions, including co-CEO of Marsh Italy, CEO of the Eastern Mediterranean Region in 2021, and CEO of Marsh McLennan Italy in 2023.
Throughout his journey, Bono has built a reputation for blending analytical precision with human insight. His focus on partnership and long-term strategy continues to shape Marsh McLennan’s global approach.
