Hilton Hurghada Plaza has appointed Florian Gruhl as General Manager, according to his professional profile. Gruhl took up the role in October 2026 after more than eight years as General Manager at Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa.

He then became Food and Beverage Supervisor at Hilton Mainz. Gruhl held the position from September 2006 to March 2008.
In April 2008, he moved to Hilton Fujairah Resort in the UAE as Food and Beverage Manager. He spent nearly four years in the role before moving to Hilton Salalah Resort in Oman.
At Hilton Salalah Resort, Gruhl served as Operations Manager from February 2012 to May 2014. He then moved to Kuwait, where he became Director of Operations at Hilton Kuwait Mangaf Resort in June 2014.
From Hilton Luxor to Hilton Hurghada Plaza
Gruhl became General Manager of Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa in May 2018. He remained in the role until August 2026, completing more than eight years at the Egypt property.
He moved to Hilton Hurghada Plaza in October 2026. The appointment extends his leadership experience within Hilton’s Egypt operations.
