Dr Sulaiman AlHabib Medical Centers has appointed Naif Alomari, MD, MMedEd, MBA as Corporate Director for Academic Affairs and Designated Institutional Official (DIO) in Saudi Arabia. The appointment places him in charge of academic affairs, graduate medical education and institutional training initiatives across the organisation.

In his new position, Alomari will lead the medical centres’ academic and training activities while overseeing graduate medical education programmes. The appointment was announced by Dr Sulaiman AlHabib Medical Centers.

Naif Alomari expands academic leadership role

Before taking on the corporate role, Alomari served as Medical Director at Al Narjis and Consultant of Family Medicine at Dr Sulaiman AlHabib Medical Centers. He also serves as Designated Institutional Official for Medical Centers at Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group.

In addition, Alomari is a Member of the Scientific Committee for Public Health Continuing Professional Development Programmes at the Public Health Authority of Saudi Arabia. The role reflects his continued involvement in professional development and medical education within the Kingdom.

Focus on graduate medical education and institutional training

As Corporate Director for Academic Affairs and Designated Institutional Official, Alomari will oversee academic affairs, graduate medical education and institutional training across Dr Sulaiman AlHabib Medical Centers.

The responsibilities align with his background in healthcare leadership, medical education and family medicine. According to the organisation, his experience spans clinical leadership, institutional training and academic development.

Academic and healthcare leadership experience

Alomari brings experience across healthcare management, medical education and family medicine. His current responsibilities include leadership roles within Dr Sulaiman AlHabib Medical Group alongside his work in continuing professional development programmes through the Public Health Authority of Saudi Arabia.

The appointment strengthens the organisation’s academic leadership structure while placing responsibility for graduate medical education and institutional training under a dedicated corporate role.
