Sophos has appointed Naveed Malik as Senior Director of EMEA MSP Channel Sales in UAE.
Naveed Malik will lead Sophos’ strategy for managed service provider partners across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. His role centres on expanding MSP growth and helping partners increase recurring revenue through managed cybersecurity services.
Naveed Malik brings more than 15 years of channel experience
Malik has more than 15 years of experience in channel, MSP, MSSP, distribution and cloud go to market strategies. During his career, he has led partner initiatives across EMEA and global markets for high growth SaaS and cybersecurity companies.
According to Sophos, Malik has built and scaled partner ecosystems focused on managed services and recurring business growth. The company said this experience will support its next phase of MSP expansion across the region.
Sophos expands its EMEA MSP partner strategy
Sophos said Malik will strengthen its EMEA MSP strategy by helping partners deliver managed security services. The company also expects him to support organisations adopting AI powered cybersecurity through trusted managed service providers.
His priorities include improving partner profitability, reducing time to value and expanding market coverage through a scalable, service led model.
Sophos said the appointment also supports its wider global MSP strategy. The company noted that more organisations now rely on managed service providers for outsourced, AI driven cybersecurity expertise.
Focus on AI powered cybersecurity services
As part of his responsibilities, Malik will help partners expand MSP enablement and profitability programmes. He will also support the development of scalable MSP partner programmes across the region.
His remit includes advancing AI powered managed services such as Sophos Managed Detection and Response and Advisory Services. In addition, he will support the adoption of Sophos’ AI native cybersecurity platform across endpoint, network, email and cloud environments.
The role also covers Extended Detection and Response capabilities, Sophos CISO Advantage delivered through MSPs and distributor led models that help newly established managed service providers grow.
