Experiential technology and brand activation agency PurpleGlo has appointed Daniel Andrews as Chief Executive Officer as the company enters its next phase of growth across the GCC.
Andrews brings more than 17 years of experience across agency leadership, business strategy, creative work and commercial growth. He is based in Dubai and currently serves as CEO of PurpleGlo.
Daniel Andrews brings agency leadership experience
Andrews has built and led businesses across the creative, digital and technology sectors. He founded the UK agency the tree, where he served as CEO and founder before its exit to Poppins.
During his time at the tree, Andrews helped grow the agency into an award-winning business. The agency worked with major brands including BOSS, L’Oréal, American Airlines, easyJet and Beam Suntory.
Following the acquisition, Andrews joined Poppins Agency as SVP of Global Brand Growth. He held the role from February 2024 to November 2025. There, he worked on agency growth, strategic partnerships and global brand expansion.
Andrews to focus on technology-led brand experiences
At PurpleGlo, Andrews will lead the agency’s growth strategy across the GCC.
His focus will include technology-enabled brand experiences, immersive technology, AI-powered experiences and experiential marketing. The role also covers interactive retail and connected brand ecosystems.
PurpleGlo’s business focus aligns with Andrews’ experience at the intersection of creativity, technology and commercial growth. His current profile describes the agency’s work as building technology-enabled brand experiences that move audiences from attention to participation.
Expanding PurpleGlo’s presence across the GCC
The appointment comes as businesses across the region continue to invest in new ways to engage customers.
Andrews’ experience in scaling agencies could support PurpleGlo as it expands its capabilities and regional footprint.
His career also includes work as an investor, adviser and non-executive director. He has advised founders and leadership teams on commercial strategy, positioning, leadership development, go-to-market strategy and operations.
Before joining PurpleGlo, Andrews also served as Chairman of the Creative Marketing Council at PRCA. He held the position from June 2022 to December 2024.
