Camilla d’Abo Brings More Than 25 Years of Strategic Communications Experience
Camilla d’Abo joins Viola Communications with more than 25 years of experience in strategic communications, reputation management and stakeholder engagement. According to the company, she has advised governments, multinational corporations and regional organisations throughout her career.
Before joining Viola Communications, Camilla d’Abo held senior leadership positions at APCO Worldwide, Edelman DABO, BPG Group and Action Global Communications. Her remit at Viola Communications includes leading the public relations function and supporting clients on communications strategy and reputation-related matters.
Speaking about the changing role of communications, Camilla d’Abo said organisations are operating in a more complex environment that requires stronger strategic counsel.
“Communications is no longer a support function. It sits across reputation, policy, growth, investment, employee engagement and brand value. Organisations are operating in a far more complex environment and that demands stronger strategic counsel. The opportunity is not simply to deliver campaigns but to help clients solve bigger business challenges,” she said.
Larry Kraut Appointed Business Director, Client Services at Viola Communications
Larry Kraut joins Viola Communications as Business Director, Client Services. He brings more than two decades of agency experience from leadership positions at M&C Saatchi UAE, Iris London and GroupM New York.
According to Viola Communications, Larry Kraut has advised international brands and led major client accounts across the real estate, FMCG and consumer sectors. His role will focus on client services and integrated delivery across the agency’s marketing and communications disciplines.
Larry Kraut said clients increasingly seek partners that can align strategy, creativity, media, communications and technology around shared commercial objectives.
“Clients have little interest in managing disconnected specialists. They want partners who can connect strategy, creativity, media, communications and technology around a single commercial objective. Viola already has the foundations in place. The opportunity now is to scale that model and create even greater value for clients,” he said.
Viola Communications Expands Senior Leadership Team in Abu Dhabi
The appointments add to an existing leadership team that includes Chief Client Officer Mohammed Ajawi and Executive Creative Director Ivan Bormaister. Viola Communications said its leadership structure is designed around senior expertise across communications, creative, digital, media, strategy, content, events, technology and customer experience.
Piero Poli, Chief Executive Officer of Viola Communications, said clients are navigating greater complexity as technology reshapes the marketing and communications sector.
“The industry is entering a new chapter. Technology is reshaping all facets of marketing, and clients are facing more complexity, more scrutiny and more pressure. In this environment, clients need senior advisors more than ever,” said Piero Poli.
Piero Poli added that the appointments support the agency’s strategy of combining senior expertise, integrated thinking and technology-enabled creativity.
Data, AI and Integrated Marketing Drive Viola Communications Growth Strategy
Viola Communications said it is continuing to expand its capabilities in data, artificial intelligence and technology-enabled marketing. The company stated that it aims to bring together expertise across multiple disciplines to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
