Securonix appointed Bassam Sartawi as senior director for the Middle East and Africa on February 5, 2026, in Dubai, UAE. He will lead regional sales, partnerships, and customer engagement to expand adoption of the company’s Unified Defense SIEM platform across MEA markets.

Securonix leadership role and regional strategy

Bassam Sartawi brings more than 20 years of cybersecurity and IT leadership across the Middle East and Africa. He most recently served as MEA director at ThreatQuotient, where he expanded the customer base and strengthened the regional channel ecosystem. He also held leadership roles at Z Services, Excel Networking Solutions, and Datwyler Cabling Solutions.

Securonix said Sartawi will deepen regional market presence and build strategic alliances. He will also support enterprises seeking faster threat detection and response through cloud-native cyber intelligence platforms.

Securonix platform expansion and partner ecosystem

Securonix continues to grow its partner network across the MEA region. DigiGlass by Redington delivers managed SOC services powered by the Securonix SIEM platform. Other regional partners include AmiViz, Help AG of e& enterprise, and RNS Technology.

The company said its Unified Defense SIEM uses agentic AI to support security operations across the full threat lifecycle. The cloud-native platform focuses on scale, speed, and automated response with human oversight.

Securonix outlook for MEA cybersecurity adoption

Sartawi said organizations across MEA are increasing investment in proactive cybersecurity capabilities. He added that Securonix aims to help CISOs strengthen security posture and measure operational value through AI-driven security operations.

Securonix is recognized as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for SIEM and a Customers’ Choice in Gartner Peer Insights. The company said the appointment supports continued regional expansion and wider enterprise adoption of unified security operations.
