A $5.1-billion integrated resort by Wynn Resorts will create a strong hiring wave in the UAE. The company plans to recruit about 2,750 employees for Wynn Al Marjan ahead of its 2027 launch.

This large tourism project is expected to support jobs, visitor growth, and new investment in the northern emirate.

Hiring to speed up in 2026

The resort sits on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah. Wynn is developing it with RAK Holding.

So far, the company has hired 251 employees. Most of them hold senior or management roles. In fact, 56 people joined in the last quarter of 2025 alone.

Now, hiring is moving toward operational roles. At present, about 112 vacancies are open across marketing, gaming, finance, food and beverage, events, IT, legal, retail, and hotel operations.

Moreover, Wynn expects the total workforce to reach nearly 3,000 employees by December 2026.

Large resort to boost tourism and jobs

The 70-storey resort will open in the first quarter of 2027. It will include:

  • 1,530 rooms and suites
  • 22 restaurants and lounges
  • A theatre and luxury retail area
  • A marina and leisure attractions

Because of this scale, the project could generate more than 9,000 direct and indirect jobs across Ras Al Khaimah and the wider UAE.

Construction is also moving on schedule. The tower has already topped out, and interior work is progressing steadily. Therefore, the company plans to complete key hiring months before opening so staff can receive global-standard training.

Rising visitor numbers support growth plans

Tourism in Ras Al Khaimah is already growing. The emirate welcomed 1.3 million overnight visitors in 2025, which marked a 6% yearly increase. At the same time, tourism revenue rose 12%.

Looking ahead, authorities aim to attract 3.5 million visitors a year by 2030. Wynn Al Marjan is expected to play a major role in reaching this target.

In addition, Wynn’s 2025 acquisition of Wynn Mayfair in London should strengthen links with high-value international guests.
