Aster Procare Hospital has appointed Nawwaf Awwad as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), marking a significant leadership move as the hospital strengthens its growth strategy and operational excellence initiatives.
Awwad announced his appointment through a LinkedIn post, expressing his commitment to driving innovation, strengthening organizational performance, and creating long-term value for patients, employees, and stakeholders.

Extensive Experience Across Healthcare Operations
Awwad brings more than 25 years of senior leadership and project management experience spanning healthcare, construction, oil and gas, software development, telecommunications, and financial services. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale transformation projects and managed cross-functional teams across multiple industries.
Before joining Aster Procare Hospital, he served as Director of Operations at Dallah Health. He also held leadership positions at Al Ahsa Hospital and Al Salam Hospital, where he oversaw operational and technology functions.
Earlier in his career, Awwad worked as Chief Operating Officer at Saudi German Hospitals and ALMOOSA Specialist Hospital. In these roles, he managed hospital operations, business development, human resources, information technology, supply chain management, and support services.
Track Record in Digital Transformation and Healthcare Management
During his tenure at ALMOOSA Specialist Hospital, Awwad played a key role in implementing cloud-based enterprise systems and modern hospital management platforms. He also led strategic initiatives involving operational efficiency, infrastructure development, and healthcare technology integration.
His experience further includes more than a decade as IT Director at Saad Group and six years with Saudi Aramco, where he managed complex technology and infrastructure projects.
