UAE– based Ghobash Group has appointed Marc Veelenturf as Managing Director of CNS Middle East alongside the Group’s broader technology cluster. Ghobash Group announced the appointment on 3 August 2026 as part of its continued investment in digital technology and artificial intelligence.
Marc Veelenturf will oversee CNS Middle East and the wider technology cluster across the region. According to Ghobash Group, his remit includes helping customers achieve measurable business outcomes through application transformation, data and AI, and advanced cybersecurity solutions.
Marc Veelenturf brings more than 25 years of technology leadership
Marc Veelenturf joins Ghobash Group from Atos, where he served as Chief Executive Officer for the Middle East and Türkiye and Chief Growth Officer for International Markets. In those roles, he focused on business growth, strategic partnerships and customer delivery.
He brings more than 25 years of global leadership experience in technology and digital transformation. He also has nearly 20 years of experience working across the Middle East.
Earlier in his career, Marc Veelenturf held senior leadership positions at Nokia, Ericsson, Amdocs, BT, PwC, Mitel and Philips. His experience spans software, hardware and technology services, and includes leading large transformation programmes and managing operations across international markets.
Appointment supports Ghobash Group’s technology leadership agenda
In his expanded role, Marc Veelenturf will lead CNS Middle East while overseeing the wider technology cluster within Ghobash Group.
The company said the appointment reflects its focus on commercial excellence and its strategy to expand and innovate across its technology portfolio. Ghobash Group also said it continues to invest in digital technology and artificial intelligence, with an emphasis on secure digital innovation, data and AI.
