Nasser Albusaeedi has been appointed Senior Vice President, Global Projects at Borouge International, where he will lead the company’s global project organisation and oversee the execution of capital investments across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, North America and South America.
In the role, Albusaeedi will be responsible for project governance, portfolio delivery, capital allocation support and project execution across Borouge International’s international asset base. His remit includes ensuring safe and value driven delivery of major capital projects across multiple operating regions.

The appointment places Nasser Albusaeedi at the centre of Borouge International’s global project delivery activities. His responsibilities span project execution, portfolio governance, project controls and capital allocation support across the company’s operating footprint.
According to Borouge International, the role carries accountability for overseeing capital investments across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, North America and South America. It also brings responsibility for ensuring consistent project governance, performance standards and delivery frameworks across multiple regions.
As Senior Vice President, Global Projects, Nasser Albusaeedi serves as the single point of accountability for project delivery performance across the organisation. His remit includes oversight of project execution from inception through commissioning and handover, while supporting portfolio governance and investment prioritisation across the company’s global assets.
The position is also part of Borouge International’s senior leadership team. In this capacity, Albusaeedi will work closely with regional business leaders, asset management teams, operations, engineering, procurement, finance and corporate functions to support the company’s growth and asset development priorities.
Nasser Albusaeedi’s experience in operations and project delivery
Albusaeedi brings more than two decades of leadership experience across operations, engineering and major project execution. Prior to joining Borouge International, he served as Senior Vice President of Project Execution at ADNOC Gas, where he oversaw more than $10 billion in strategic investments while also acting as Chief of Projects, Optimisation and Engineering.
In that role, he led projects from concept definition through execution, commissioning and handover. His responsibilities included guiding major initiatives such as RLNG and Bab Gas Cap programmes, along with brownfield projects valued at more than $2 billion.
Earlier, he held several senior leadership positions within ADNOC Group, including Senior Vice President Operations and Senior Vice President, Technical and Projects. In those roles, he was responsible for operational performance, technical functions, engineering services and capital project delivery across ADNOC’s operations.
His career also includes technical and project management positions at GASCO and ADCO, where he developed experience in engineering systems, plant operations and project execution. Throughout his career, he has worked across large scale energy and infrastructure projects, managing multidisciplinary teams and supporting operational reliability across complex industrial environments.
Albusaeedi has also held leadership responsibilities related to governance frameworks, business continuity systems, project coordination and operational improvement initiatives. His experience spans project planning, execution, commissioning, stakeholder engagement and operational management across the energy sector.
