Schneider Electric has appointed Ruba Saadé as Vice President, Global Transformation Program for Industrial Automation, based in the United Arab Emirates.

The appointment marks a significant milestone in Saadé’s career, bringing her back to the UAE nearly 13 years after she first joined Schneider Electric in the region. She will now lead transformation initiatives for the company’s Industrial Automation business as it accelerates growth and innovation globally.

Return to the UAE after a decade in Paris

Saadé spent the past decade in Paris, where she held several senior leadership positions across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and global operations. During this period, she also completed an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, strengthening her expertise in digital transformation and strategic leadership.

Announcing her new role, Saadé described the move as a return to the place where her journey with Schneider Electric began. She also expressed gratitude to France for the professional opportunities that shaped her leadership career.

Extensive leadership experience across global markets

Saadé brings more than 20 years of experience in sales leadership, business development, strategy and operations management across international markets. According to her professional profile, she has led multicultural teams and driven growth initiatives across multiple regions.

Before assuming her new position, she served as Head of Strategy Execution for Europe Operations at Schneider Electric. In that role, she acted as chief-of-staff support to a senior executive committee member and helped translate global strategies into local execution plans across European markets.

Earlier, she held leadership positions including Global Commercial Director for Software and Segments in the Digital Power business and Global Sales Director for Digital Services. She also led the Process Instrumentation business across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Long-standing association with Schneider Electric

Saadé joined Schneider Electric in 2013 as Operational Marketing Director for Gulf Field Services and Pakistan, based in the UAE. During her tenure, she developed strategic growth plans, led transformation projects and supported field service expansion across 20 Middle Eastern markets.

Over the years, she earned several internal recognitions, including the EMEA President Award and Schneider Electric’s Global GFS Award for leadership and performance.

Focus on the next phase of Industrial Automation growth

Saadé thanked Gwenaelle Huet for her trust and support as she takes on the new responsibility. She also reaffirmed her commitment to helping the Industrial Automation team achieve its next phase of growth and transformation.
