Shanali De Silva has been appointed Complex Director of Marketing and Communications at Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City, V Hotel Dubai by Curio Collection by Hilton, and Al Habtoor Palace by Preferred Hotels & Resorts.

The appointment places Shanali De Silva in charge of marketing, communications, public relations, social media, and brand strategy across the Al Habtoor City hotel collection in Dubai.

The position covers Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City, V Hotel Dubai by Curio Collection by Hilton, and Al Habtoor Palace Dubai, a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts.

Shanali De Silva Leads Marketing Strategy Across Al Habtoor City

In her new position, Shanali De Silva directs brand and communications activities across the three properties.

Her responsibilities include brand positioning, media relations, digital marketing, and content development. In addition, she oversees integrated campaigns designed to support visibility and guest engagement.

She also manages partnerships and commercial marketing initiatives. Furthermore, the role includes supporting guest-focused activations across the hotel cluster.

According to her profile, Shanali De Silva leads efforts in luxury storytelling and digital strategy. She also works on lifestyle collaborations, influencer campaigns, and food and beverage promotions.

Extensive Experience in Hospitality Marketing

Shanali De Silva brings several years of hospitality marketing experience to the role.

Before joining the Hilton Dubai Al Habtoor City collection, she served as Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications at Raffles Dubai. During her tenure, she worked on digital marketing, brand partnerships, and website initiatives.

Earlier, she held leadership positions with Anantara Hotels, Resorts and Spas and Accor. She also served as Head of Marketing, PR and Communications at Th8 Palm Dubai Beach Resort.

Additionally, Shanali De Silva was Head of Digital Media and E-commerce at 25hours Hotel Dubai One Central. In that role, she supported the hotel’s pre-opening digital and e-commerce strategy.

Her career also includes roles with Accor, Trillium Hotels, AAA Hotels & Resorts, and The Kingsbury.

Focus on Brand Visibility and Guest Engagement

The appointment strengthens marketing leadership across the Al Habtoor City hotel portfolio.

In her current role, Shanali De Silva oversees programmes that support brand visibility and audience engagement. She also works on initiatives aligned with commercial objectives across the three properties.

Meanwhile, her remit includes media relations, content strategy, partnership development, and social media management.

Shanali De Silva holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Events, Tourism and Hospitality Management from the University of Plymouth.
