The latest Nama jobs Oman initiative provides 200 technical training opportunities linked to permanent employment. Recruitment will be carried out through the Tawteen platform in coordination with the Ministry of Labour to meet workforce needs across the water, wastewater and electricity sectors.
The programme forms part of the Public Services Sector Employment Governance and In-Country Value Committee in Dhofar Governorate. Through this approach, Nama aims to strengthen the participation of qualified Omani professionals while supporting the delivery of essential public utility services.
Employment initiative supports Omanisation goals
The new Nama jobs Oman programme continues the company’s phased Omanisation strategy by combining practical training with long-term employment. Participants will receive technical preparation before joining permanent roles, helping them build industry-specific skills that match operational requirements.
The initiative also contributes to Oman Vision 2040 by expanding employment opportunities for nationals and strengthening workforce capabilities. At the same time, cooperation between Nama, the Ministry of Labour and the Authority for Public Services Regulation supports the development of skilled local talent across the utilities sector.
Expansion builds on earlier recruitment phases
The latest recruitment drive follows the first phase, which created 467 job opportunities. With the addition of 200 new training-linked positions, the total number of opportunities offered this year has increased to 667 under successive stages of the Omanisation initiative.
Nama will conduct recruitment through the Tawteen platform to match candidates with technical roles based on sector requirements. Nama’s contracting companies will offer permanent contracts, creating long-term employment opportunities in Dhofar.
