Fuze has appointed Ahmed Aideed as Commercial Director, strengthening its senior leadership as the company expands across the UAE and wider region. The Dubai-based digital assets infrastructure provider works with banks and financial institutions to deliver regulated digital asset and stablecoin solutions.
The appointment comes as the UAE continues to position itself as a global hub for responsible digital finance. Institutional interest in compliant digital asset infrastructure is growing, supported by clearer regulatory frameworks and rising market maturity. Fuze operates at the centre of this ecosystem, enabling banks to launch secure, enterprise-grade offerings.
Background in banking and digital assets
Ahmed Aideed brings extensive experience across banking, fintech and digital assets. He most recently spent close to two years at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, where he helped build and commercialise the bank’s digital assets proposition.
His role covered partnerships, product development and revenue growth. He also worked closely with regulators to support licensing and compliant product launches.
Earlier in his career, Aideed contributed to Fuze’s partnerships and sales team during its early growth phase. He has also held leadership and founding roles across fintech, travel and e-commerce ventures, gaining experience in scaling technology-led businesses in the UAE and international markets.
Strategic fit with Fuze’s growth plans
Fuze continues to support several firsts in the regional market, including bank-led retail crypto offerings and fully Sharia-compliant digital asset trading. The company positions itself as a long-term infrastructure partner for institutions seeking regulated access to digital assets.
Commenting on his appointment, Aideed said the move reflects strong alignment with Fuze’s long-term vision and its role within the region’s digital assets ecosystem. He highlighted the company’s emphasis on regulatory discipline, trust and execution.
Strategy and market expansion
In his new role, Aideed will lead commercial strategy, partnerships and market expansion. His focus will support Fuze’s next phase of growth as it scales from the UAE into global markets.
