Ali Al-Zaini has started a new role as Finance Director at Qatar Charity, according to an update shared on LinkedIn. The appointment adds an experienced finance executive to the organisation’s leadership team.
Before joining Qatar Charity, Al-Zaini served as Assistant Vice President, Financial Budget and Business Planning at QNB Group. He held that position from January 2023. Earlier, he worked as Specialist, Financial Budgeting and Business Planning at the bank from January 2020 to January 2023.

Earlier in his career, Al-Zaini spent more than four years as a Senior Financial Analyst at beIN MEDIA GROUP. Before that, he worked as a Compliance Officer at Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB). His professional background covers financial analysis, budgeting, business planning and compliance across organisations in Qatar.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Al-Zaini also has experience with Oracle and Hyperion systems. In addition, he lists proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint. He also states that he is fluent in both Arabic and English.
