Zain Bahrain has completed its 100% acquisition of Infonas W.L.L. and appointed Ali Mustafa as Chief Executive Officer of the company. Infonas provides ICT solutions for enterprises and global carriers and owns international cable systems across the region.

Ali Mustafa brings extensive leadership experience in Bahrain’s telecommunications industry. According to his professional profile, he currently serves as Chief B2B & Wholesale Officer at Zain Bahrain, a position he has held since October 2017. Earlier, he served as Director of Regulatory, Wholesale and Roaming at the company.
Before joining Zain Bahrain, Mustafa spent more than 11 years at Batelco, where he held several leadership roles, including General Manager of Wholesale and Carrier Relations, Head of Wholesale and Carrier Relations, Senior Manager Wholesale, Manager Access and Interconnection, and Wholesale Interconnection Manager.
His experience spans wholesale telecommunications, business to business services, regulatory affairs, roaming and carrier relations. His professional profile also highlights expertise in team management, product management and next generation network technologies.

His career includes more than two decades in Bahrain’s telecommunications sector across wholesale operations, regulatory functions, business development and carrier management.
