Karina Crivtonencu has been appointed Tennis Coach at The Ritz Carlton Bahrain, where she will provide personalised coaching to hotel guests and Royal Beach Club members. The appointment adds international coaching experience to the resort’s leisure and sports offering.

Crivtonencu began playing tennis at the age of six before moving to Spain at 12 to train at the Emilio Sánchez Academy. She later continued her tennis career in the United States, where she competed for Christopher Newport University, representing one of the country’s NCAA Division III tennis programmes in both singles and doubles.

Karina Crivtonencu brings International Tennis experience

Crivtonencu’s background combines competitive tennis with professional coaching across different stages of the sport. Her experience spans Europe and the United States, giving her exposure to international training methods and competitive environments.

In addition to tennis, she is a certified padel coach for beginner and intermediate players. Her coaching focuses on helping players improve their technical abilities while building confidence and encouraging long term participation in the sport.

Coaching guests and Royal Beach Club Members

At The Ritz Carlton Bahrain, Crivtonencu will work with hotel guests and members of the Royal Beach Club across different age groups and skill levels. She will deliver personalised coaching programmes designed to support individual learning goals and player development.

Her responsibilities include providing structured tennis instruction while also introducing beginner and intermediate players to padel coaching. The role expands the resort’s recreational offering by providing professional coaching tailored to a wide range of participants.

Supporting the Resort’s Leisure offering

The appointment strengthens the resort’s sports and leisure team as it continues to provide recreational experiences for guests and club members in Bahrain. Moreover, Crivtonencu’s international playing background and coaching qualifications support the resort’s focus on delivering professional instruction across its tennis facilities.

Meanwhile, Crivtonencu said her coaching philosophy centres on helping every player build stronger skills, gain confidence and develop a lasting appreciation for the game. She also noted that coaching at The Ritz Carlton Bahrain allows her to combine personalised instruction with hospitality. As a result, guests can enhance their tennis experience in a supportive and engaging environment.
