Mariam Zadjali has been appointed Vice President Membership (VPM) at INJAZ Bahrain Toastmasters Club. The appointment places her in a leadership role focused on member engagement and supporting the club’s membership experience in Bahrain. It follows her active involvement in the club, where she previously welcomed and guided new members as Inducting Officer while contributing to the development of the Toastmasters community.

Zadjali shared the announcement on LinkedIn, describing the appointment as an opportunity to give back to a club that has played an important role in her Toastmasters journey. She also thanked members for placing their trust in her and said she looks forward to helping members make the most of their experience within the club.

Mariam Zadjali takes on Vice President Membership Role

As Vice President Membership, Zadjali will be responsible for supporting current members, welcoming prospective members and helping create an environment where individuals can develop their communication and leadership skills. The role also involves engaging with guests and encouraging membership growth within the club.

In her announcement, Zadjali said she looks forward to serving alongside the club’s leadership team while supporting members throughout their Toastmasters journey. She added that she hopes to help create meaningful opportunities for learning, participation and personal development.

Previous contribution to INJAZ Bahrain Toastmasters Club

Before her appointment, Zadjali served as the club’s Inducting Officer, where she welcomed new members and helped introduce them to the Toastmasters programme. She described the experience as a privilege and said it allowed her to be part of the beginning of many members’ leadership and public speaking journeys.

She also reflected on the appointment ceremony, noting that she was sworn into office by her mentor, Distinguished Toastmaster Khalid Abdulla, in the presence of Hana Sarwani, Chief Executive Officer of INJAZ Bahrain. Zadjali said the occasion made the appointment especially meaningful.

Leadership role supports Member Engagement

The Vice President Membership position focuses on strengthening the club’s membership community by supporting recruitment, retention and member engagement. Through the role, Zadjali will work with members and guests while helping maintain an environment that encourages learning, collaboration and participation.

Her appointment adds to the leadership team at INJAZ Bahrain Toastmasters Club as it continues its activities in Bahrain. Looking ahead, Zadjali said she is grateful for the opportunity to serve the club, support its members and contribute to its future while continuing her own leadership and personal development journey.
