Oman participates in Youth City 2030 Bahrain
Oman Youth City participation reflects the country’s commitment to expanding regional cooperation in youth development. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth joined the 15th edition of Youth City 2030, organised by Bahrain’s Ministry of Youth Affairs.
The five-day programme creates opportunities for young people to build practical knowledge, exchange experiences and develop skills alongside participants from across the region.
Oman Youth City focuses on future skills
The programme prepares young people for future employment through specialised training and applied learning. Participants explore several key areas, including Science and Technology, Media and Entertainment, Culture and Arts, Leadership and Entrepreneurship, and Sports City.
These learning centres help participants strengthen digital, technical and professional skills while encouraging creativity and innovation that match evolving labour market requirements.
Partnership expands Gulf Youth cooperation
The Oman participates in Youth City 2030 Bahrain initiative also strengthens bilateral cooperation between Oman and Bahrain. Both countries continue to promote joint youth programmes that encourage knowledge sharing and professional development.
The collaboration supports wider Gulf efforts to equip young people with practical experience while building stronger regional partnerships in the youth sector.
Programme supports long term youth development
Alongside technical training, Oman Youth City encourages participants to improve leadership, communication and entrepreneurial abilities through practical activities. The programme also creates an environment where young people can exchange ideas and learn from different experiences.
