Dubai, UAE — Government Recruitment took the spotlight this week as the Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR), in collaboration with Digital Dubai Authority, hosted a workshop titled Government Recruitment Process Development at the Dubai Public Prosecution headquarters. The event brought together representatives from 12 government entities, including HR directors and recruitment specialists.

The workshop aimed to make Government recruitment faster, smarter, and more connected. Moreover, it aligned with Dubai’s ongoing efforts to boost digital transformation and strengthen its public employment ecosystem.

H.E. Abdullah Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of DGHR, said the initiative reflects Dubai’s commitment to innovation and collaboration. “We aim to enhance the government employment experience through artificial intelligence, data analytics, and proactive hiring strategies,” he explained.

Furthermore, he noted that the session marked an important step toward refining Government recruitment practices. It focused on making the process more transparent, efficient, and engaging for both young graduates and experienced professionals.

In addition, the ‘Dubai Careers’ platform emerged as a central topic of discussion. The platform serves as a unified digital gateway for all government entities, helping connect national talent with suitable opportunities. It also promotes fairness, supports Emiratisation, and encourages sustainability within the government workforce.

Throughout the workshop, participants actively exchanged ideas, shared challenges, and discussed new solutions. They explored how digital systems can make hiring more agile, integrated, and data-driven. As a result, departments can respond more quickly to evolving market needs and manage recruitment with greater flexibility.

DGHR further confirmed that the workshop is part of a broader series of HR development initiatives. These efforts aim to build a smart, adaptive recruitment model that enhances Dubai’s human capital while supporting vital industries across the emirate.

Ultimately, the emphasis on Government recruitment reflects Dubai’s broader vision for progress. By combining technology, talent, and transparency, the city continues to move closer to its goal of becoming a global benchmark in digital governance and institutional excellence.
