Dubai, UAE – The Dubai aviation sector is getting a major push with the new Aviation Talent 33 initiative. The plan will create 15,000 jobs and open 4,000 training opportunities across the industry. It aims to strengthen skills, expand employment, and position Dubai aviation as a global leader in innovation and excellence.
Approved by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council, the initiative reflects Dubai’s drive to build a world-class aviation workforce. It also supports the city’s goal of becoming the world’s most advanced and competitive aviation hub.
Driving job creation in Dubai aviation
The Dubai aviation initiative focuses on creating jobs, growing local expertise, and building long-term careers. It will increase Emirati representation in leadership and operational roles across Dubai’s airports, including Al Maktoum International Airport. In addition, over 30 partnerships with leading aviation companies will provide hands-on training, mentorship, and new employment channels.
Moreover, Aviation Talent 33 will introduce 4,000 development programmes to prepare young professionals for advanced roles. These programmes will cover airport management, logistics, customer operations, and aviation technology. Each course is designed to match the fast-changing demands of the global aviation market.
Strengthening the economy through jobs
Officials said the initiative aligns with Dubai’s plan to double its economy and attract Dh650 billion in investments. It will also help add 65,000 Emiratis to the private sector. By focusing on aviation, Dubai is boosting both employment and long-term economic sustainability.
“The aviation sector has always driven Dubai’s growth,” said an official from The Executive Council. “Through Aviation Talent 33, we are investing in people and performance — two forces that keep Dubai aviation ahead globally.”
