Mohammad A. has been appointed as Vice President – Head of the Customer Service Unit for Private Banking at Mashreq, according to a LinkedIn announcement. He will be based in the UAE and will oversee customer service operations within the bank’s private banking segment. The elevation reflects Mashreq’s continued focus on strengthening customer service leadership within its UAE private banking operations.

Leadership Role in UAE Private Banking

In his new position, Mohammad will lead the customer service unit for private banking clients. He will oversee service delivery standards, operational performance, and customer experience frameworks across the division.

The role places him at the centre of Mashreq’s client servicing strategy within its private banking business in the UAE.

Six-Year Career Progression at Mashreq

Mohammad has spent more than six years at Mashreq, holding senior leadership positions within the Retail Banking Group. He previously served in Assistant Vice President roles overseeing Regional Quality & Service Management, Customer Care, and Branch Operations across the UAE.

During this period, he managed service quality initiatives and operational oversight functions linked to customer engagement and branch performance.

Nine Years at ADIB in Customer Relationship Leadership

Before joining Mashreq, he spent nine years at ADIB – Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. He progressed from Senior Customer Relations Officer to CRM/HOBO/ABM Manager, handling customer relationship management and branch operations responsibilities.

His tenure at ADIB formed a significant part of his banking leadership background in the UAE.

Broader Leadership and Early Career Experience

Mohammad’s broader career includes leadership and consulting roles with Jewel Essence, Premier Marketing Management, Al-Futtaim, and Al Tayer Group. He began his professional journey in technical service with the UAE Armed Forces, adding operational and technical experience to his profile.

The appointment comes amid continued leadership hiring across the UAE banking sector, particularly in customer service and private banking functions.
