Presight, the AI and big data analytics company backed by G42, has elevated Jayant Jha to the position of Director Program Management in Abu Dhabi. The appointment marks a significant milestone in Jha’s nearly two-decade-long career in technology, digital transformation, and large-scale program leadership.
In his new role, Jha will oversee strategic AI initiatives, national digital transformation programs, and sovereign technology projects across multiple regions. His elevation reflects Presight’s continued focus on strengthening leadership capabilities as governments accelerate investments in artificial intelligence and smart nation infrastructure.
Leading Multi-Million-Dollar AI and Digital Transformation Programs
Before this promotion, Jha served as Senior Country Program Manager at Presight. During his tenure, he led several high-impact AI and digital transformation programs across multiple countries.
He worked closely with heads of state, cabinet ministers, and senior government officials to shape national technology strategies. Additionally, he played a key role in designing AI-driven platforms for sectors including healthcare, public finance, energy, mobility, and defense.
His portfolio included programs valued at more than $150 million. These initiatives focused on building sovereign AI capabilities, strengthening digital governance, and supporting long-term economic development.
Building Sovereign AI Ecosystems for Governments
Jha has earned recognition for helping governments build AI ecosystems from concept to deployment. His work spans business case development, feasibility assessments, policy advisory, stakeholder management, and program execution.
Furthermore, he has advised governments on digital public infrastructure, national data strategies, and responsible AI governance frameworks. His experience also includes overseeing complex technology ecosystems involving data centers, sovereign cloud platforms, machine learning infrastructure, and advanced analytics solutions.
As a program leader, he has managed relationships with government agencies, regulators, multilateral organizations, and private-sector partners. This broad engagement has enabled the successful execution of large-scale national technology programs.
Extensive Experience Across Technology and Financial Services
Before joining Presight and G42, Jha held senior leadership positions at Cognizant, where he managed large teams across banking, wealth management, and securities domains.
Earlier in his career, he worked with organizations including Cognizant, Pitney Bowes, Accenture, and Avanade. Throughout these roles, he contributed to enterprise technology modernization, content management systems, banking transformation projects, and large-scale digital initiatives.
Notably, he played an important role during the merger of First Gulf Bank and National Bank of Abu Dhabi, one of the largest banking mergers in the Middle East.
Strong Academic and Professional Credentials
Jha brings a combination of academic excellence and industry-recognized certifications to his leadership role. He holds an MBA in Finance and an M.Tech in Data Science and Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He is also pursuing a PhD in Computer Science.
His professional credentials include Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), TOGAF, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and several advanced technology certifications.
In addition, he has co-authored research publications in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and healthcare analytics.
