The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Qatar has launched a new digital service called “Where Is My Center” to help residents, students, parents, and investors quickly locate licensed educational and training centres across the country.

The platform currently maps 182 licensed centres operating in different municipalities and districts. Moreover, users can access the service through a direct electronic link provided by the ministry.

The initiative forms part of the ministry’s broader digital transformation strategy. It aims to improve public access to information while supporting the growth of Qatar’s private education and training sector.

Users Can Search Centres by Area, Activity and Name

The new platform offers several search filters to make navigation easier. Users can search for centres by name, municipality, district, residential area, or type of educational and training activity.

In addition, the service integrates with Google Maps. As a result, users can access accurate navigation directions and reach centres without difficulty.

Officials said the tool will help beneficiaries identify suitable centres based on both educational needs and geographic convenience. Consequently, the platform is expected to simplify access to training and educational services across Qatar.

Digital Platform Supports Investors and Sector Planning

The ministry stated that the service also offers valuable insights for investors and planners. The platform highlights the geographic distribution of existing educational and training centres across the country.

Therefore, investors planning to launch new projects can identify underserved areas with growing demand. At the same time, they can avoid locations where educational centres are already highly concentrated.

Officials noted that this approach will encourage a more balanced distribution of educational services while opening new investment opportunities in the private education and training sector.

Qatar Accelerates Digital Transformation in Education

The launch reflects Qatar’s continued focus on digital innovation and smart public services. Furthermore, the ministry said the initiative strengthens transparency and improves access to educational information for all stakeholders.

The platform also supports long-term sector development by offering data-driven tools for decision-making and investment planning.

The “Where Is My Center” service is now available through the ministry’s official digital platform.
