Hala Hammoud has taken on the role of Associate Director – People & Organization at PureHealth, reinforcing the group’s focus on building a high-performance, future-ready workforce across its healthcare network.

With over a decade of experience in human resources, Hammoud brings deep expertise in people strategy, governance, and workforce transformation. She has worked extensively across complex healthcare systems in the UAE and wider MENA region.

Proven track record in HR transformation and governance

At PureHealth, Hammoud has steadily progressed through multiple leadership roles over the past seven years. Most recently, she served as Senior Manager – People & Organization, where she led strategic HR initiatives aligned with business and operational priorities.

In her new role, she will drive people strategy across a multi-hospital network. She will also oversee workforce planning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. In addition, she will continue to advise senior leadership on performance, governance, and employee engagement.

Her experience spans HR transformation, policy standardization, and compliance frameworks. Notably, she has led large-scale HR integration projects and governance models to improve consistency and audit readiness across business units.

Driving workforce optimization and leadership development

Hammoud has played a key role in designing performance management frameworks that enhance accountability and productivity. Moreover, she has worked closely with hospital leadership teams to align staffing strategies with long-term business goals.

She has also led initiatives in talent attraction, retention, and succession planning. As a result, she has strengthened leadership pipelines and improved workforce sustainability across organizations.

Her expertise extends to employee relations, compensation frameworks, and HR analytics. Consequently, she supports data-driven decision-making at the executive level.

Hammoud holds an MBA in Human Resources Development from the Lebanese International University. She is also a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), underscoring her expertise in global HR standards and practices.

Before transitioning fully into HR, she began her career in journalism. This background continues to inform her strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
