Initiative aims to improve business environment and shape government solutions through private sector feedback

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in collaboration with the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau, has invited private sector companies across Qatar to submit business challenges through the Sharek platform. The initiative aims to gather direct feedback from businesses and develop practical solutions that strengthen the country’s business environment.

The government launched the Business Environment Challenges Submission Form to identify obstacles companies face throughout the year. Officials will use the feedback to improve regulations, government services, and the overall ease of doing business in Qatar.

According to the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau, the initiative reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening collaboration with the private sector. The collected feedback will help government entities design more effective policies while improving the competitiveness of Qatar’s business ecosystem.

Government seeks year-round business feedback

The survey encourages companies from different industries to highlight operational and regulatory challenges that affect their growth. As a result, policymakers can better understand business needs and respond with targeted reforms.

Officials also urged businesses to participate actively, noting that industry feedback will support evidence-based decision-making and identify opportunities to improve public services.

Sharek platform to support policy improvements

The Ministry said the initiative will help develop innovative government solutions that match the evolving needs of the private sector. In addition, it supports Qatar’s long-term efforts to strengthen public-private partnerships, encourage investment, and create a more business-friendly environment.

Companies can complete the Business Environment Challenges Submission Form through the Sharek platform by scanning the QR code shared in the official campaign or by accessing the platform online.
