UAE-based AI search company Liplyn has launched Liplyn Academy, a new learning platform designed to help organisations across the Middle East prepare for the rapidly evolving AI search economy.
The academy offers training in AI Visibility, Vibe Coding and Agentic AI through online programmes and instructor-led classroom sessions at Liplyn’s Dubai office in One JLT. The initiative aims to equip businesses with practical knowledge on how AI-powered search and digital assistants are changing customer discovery, brand visibility and online decision-making.
AI search is reshaping how customers discover brands
For more than two decades, internet users have relied on traditional search engines such as Google and Bing to find products, services and information. However, Liplyn believes AI assistants will fundamentally change that behaviour over the next few years.
Instead of browsing search results, consumers are increasingly expected to rely on AI systems that recommend products, summarise information and complete tasks on their behalf. As a result, organisations must rethink how they create content and build digital authority.
According to Liplyn, businesses will need to focus not only on search rankings but also on whether AI platforms recognise, trust and recommend their brands.
“We foresee that within five years, 80% of the apps on our mobile phones will be replaced by AI assistants, and that within a year the Google search bar will no longer exist as we have known it for years,” said Luke Liplijn, founder of Liplyn.
He added that AI assistants could soon handle activities such as finding suitable properties, purchasing products and booking event tickets after receiving user permission.
Academy focuses on practical AI skills for organisations
Liplyn Academy has been developed for marketing teams, business leaders and organisations seeking practical AI knowledge.
Participants can choose fully online programmes or attend classroom sessions in Dubai. In addition, Liplyn will offer customised corporate training programmes for organisations that want workshops tailored to their brands, content strategies and markets.
The academy’s curriculum includes AI Visibility, which focuses on improving discoverability across AI-powered search platforms, alongside courses covering Vibe Coding and Agentic AI.
Growing demand for AI literacy across businesses
Liplyn said organisations now need a broader understanding of how AI systems evaluate and recommend information.
The company believes this shift extends beyond marketing teams and requires professionals across different business functions to understand AI-driven content discovery and digital trust.
“The question is no longer only: are you at the top of Google?” Liplijn said. “The new question is: are you mentioned, cited and trusted by AI systems? That requires a different way of thinking about content, authority, technology and reputation.”
He also noted that organisations must consider multiple AI platforms rather than focusing solely on widely known tools such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini and Claude.
Regulation and privacy remain important considerations
Liplyn also highlighted the growing importance of AI governance, privacy and regulation.
According to the company, some AI providers already allow organisations to opt out of AI-generated search results. However, policies vary across platforms. Therefore, businesses operating in multiple markets should understand how different AI systems handle visibility and content.
Academy supports Liplyn’s wider AI strategy
The academy forms part of Liplyn Group’s broader strategy to help organisations remain visible in an AI-driven digital environment.
Alongside training, the company provides AI visibility consulting, search optimisation services and content distribution solutions. Liplyn also operates a network of more than 70 websites, which it says reaches over four million visitors each month.
The company expects AI assistants to play a growing role in how consumers discover brands, access information and make purchasing decisions.
