Wissam Najjar takes on an expanded leadership role
Wissam Najjar previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Omnicom Media MENA. As Chief Commercial Officer, he will oversee investment, trading, partnerships, commercial design, investment operations and forecasting across the region.
The company said the new structure will help specialist teams work more closely together. It also supports agencies operating across different MENA markets.

New operating model strengthens collaboration
Omnicom Media MENA said the new operating model aligns with the wider transformation taking place across the global Omnicom Media network.
The model connects strategy, investment, partnerships, data, technology and execution through specialist disciplines. According to the company, this approach gives clients easier access to expertise across markets.
The company also said the model helps teams apply best practice more consistently. It aims to improve the speed of campaign delivery and commercial decision making.
Leadership outlines the strategy
Elda Choucair, Chief Executive Officer of Omnicom Media MENA, said the changes reflect the growing complexity of the media industry.
“As media becomes more complex, our role is not simply to manage investment but to help clients move faster, act with greater confidence and deliver stronger business outcomes,” Choucair said.
Najjar said the new operating model builds on the company’s existing direction.
“By bringing our commercial capabilities closer together, we can move faster, apply expertise more consistently across markets and help clients unlock more value from their investments,” Najjar said.
Regional transformation continues
Omnicom Media MENA said the appointment supports its broader regional transformation. The company aims to create closer links between commercial, investment and operational teams.
According to the company, the revised structure will help agencies respond more effectively to changing client expectations across the Middle East and North Africa.
The appointment also reflects a wider shift within the media sector. Agency networks are bringing together data, technology, investment and commercial expertise to deliver more measurable business outcomes.
