Enterprise Singapore has appointed Josiah Choy as Regional Director for the Middle East (Dubai), reinforcing the agency’s commitment to expanding Singapore’s trade, investment, and business partnerships across the region.
Based in Dubai, Choy will lead Enterprise Singapore’s efforts to deepen commercial ties between Singapore and Middle Eastern markets. His role will focus on supporting Singapore companies looking to expand in the region while also facilitating partnerships with local businesses and government entities.
Extensive Global Experience Across Key Markets
Choy brings nearly a decade of experience within Enterprise Singapore, where he has held several international leadership positions. Most recently, he served as Regional Director for Latin America in Mexico City, overseeing Singapore’s economic engagement across the region.
Prior to that, he led the agency’s operations in Brazil, where he worked closely with businesses and policymakers to strengthen bilateral trade and investment opportunities. His earlier role as Development Partner – Logistics in Singapore focused on industry partnerships and supply chain development.
With a background spanning Latin America, Asia, and now the Middle East, Choy brings a global perspective to the role and is well positioned to support Singapore’s growing commercial footprint in the Gulf.
Supporting Singapore Companies Expanding in the Middle East
In his new role, Choy will work closely with companies, investors, and innovation ecosystems across the region. The Middle East has emerged as a key market for Singaporean businesses across sectors such as technology, logistics, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing.
Enterprise Singapore continues to play a vital role in helping Singapore enterprises internationalise while connecting global partners with Singapore’s business ecosystem.
Dubai serves as a strategic hub for regional operations, making it an important base for strengthening economic collaboration between Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
