Technology giant HPE has appointed Michael Langeveld as its new UAE Country Director, effective immediately. The move comes as the company expands its focus on artificial intelligence (AI), hybrid cloud solutions, and digital infrastructure across the UAE.
In his new role, Langeveld will lead HPE’s operations in the country. He will oversee business growth, deepen customer engagement, and strengthen relationships with partners. Furthermore, he will support the UAE’s national digital transformation agenda and its growing investments in advanced technologies.
The appointment forms part of a broader leadership strategy led by Ahmad Alkhallafi, Vice President and Managing Director for Emirates and Africa. Together with the expanding UAE team, Langeveld will help create a unified go-to-market organization designed to deliver faster and more effective customer outcomes.

Alongside Langeveld’s promotion, HPE announced two additional leadership appointments.
The company named Ques Eden as Head of Commercial Sales UAE and Santosh Lasrado as Head of Technology UAE. These appointments form part of HPE’s wider investment in its local organizational structure.
The strengthened leadership team will support growth across enterprise technology, commercial sales, pre-sales operations, partnerships, and channel development. Moreover, it will enhance the company’s ability to address increasing customer demand for AI-enabled and cloud-based solutions.
