Nicolas will lead sales across Cheval Maison The Palm and Cheval Maison Expo City. Together, the properties have 282 keys.
Robert Nicolas brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience
Nicolas brings more than two decades of hospitality experience to the role. His career includes senior commercial positions across luxury hotels and serviced residences in the UAE.
Before joining Cheval Collection, Nicolas held senior commercial roles at The Biltmore Hotel Villas in Dubai, Chedi Al Bait in Sharjah and Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort & Spa.
He also worked with a cluster of Anantara Hotels & Resorts properties in Abu Dhabi.
According to Cheval Collection, Nicolas has experience in growth and return on investment across competitive markets. The company also describes him as a hands-on leader and change agent.
Sales leadership across Cheval’s Dubai properties
In his new role, Nicolas will oversee sales for Cheval Maison The Palm and Cheval Maison Expo City.
The appointment comes as Cheval Collection prepares for the UAE’s event season and peak travel period. John Raffoul, Cluster General Manager at Cheval Collection Dubai, said Nicolas brings extensive experience and knowledge of the UAE hospitality sector to the two properties.
Raffoul said Nicolas’s experience will support Cheval’s Dubai properties as the company enters its busiest period of the year.
Nicolas said the new role adds the serviced apartment sector to his experience across different market segments. He also highlighted Cheval Collection’s focus on privacy, amenities and a residential guest experience.
