flydubai will recruit UAE nationals across aviation, operational and corporate roles through its UAE National Careers Open Day on August 16.
The event will take place at the flydubai Campus. It will bring together Emirati students, graduates and experienced professionals. Attendees can meet recruitment specialists, explore career paths and learn about the airline’s talent development programmes.
Additionally, the initiative supports flydubai’s long-term workforce strategy. It also reflects the airline’s commitment to developing national talent.
Training programmes cover multiple aviation careers
The airline will introduce several training and development programmes during the event.
These include the Engineering Apprentice Programme (AMEL), the Flight Dispatcher Programme, the Ab Initio Pilot Training Programme, the Second Officer Programme and the UAE National Graduate Programme.
Moreover, candidates can explore career opportunities across engineering, flight operations, airport operations, commercial, technology, finance and human resources.
As a result, applicants can gain a clear understanding of the different career paths available within the airline.
Fleet expansion drives future hiring demand
flydubai currently operates a fleet of 97 aircraft. The airline also has more than 300 aircraft on order.
Consequently, the expansion is expected to create more opportunities across technical, operational and corporate teams in the coming years.
The recruitment drive forms part of the airline’s broader strategy to build a strong pipeline of Emirati professionals for future growth.
flydubai highlights investment in national talent
Nasser Binkherbash, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at flydubai, said investing in people remains central to the airline’s growth strategy.
“At flydubai, investing in people is fundamental to our continued growth. Our UAE National Careers Open Day provides aspiring Emirati students and professionals with the opportunity to learn about the diverse career pathways available across the organisation, as well as the structured development programmes that prepare them for successful careers in aviation. Furthermore, he said the airline aims to prepare the next generation of aviation professionals through structured learning and career development programmes.
Recruitment supports UAE workforce goals
The careers open day also supports the UAE’s national workforce objectives.
