Stakeholders can process applications and review requirements through the official electronic portal. Customer support channels will also remain available for agencies and applicants seeking clarification about the updated procedures.
The Ministry of Labour stated that the system forms part of ongoing labour market regulation measures connected to overseas recruitment and workforce entry procedures.

The Oman visa system changes will affect recruitment agencies working with employers hiring Filipino workers across sectors in the Sultanate. Agencies must complete documentation before travel approval is granted.
At the same time, authorities expect the process to improve coordination between recruitment offices, medical screening providers and visa processing services. The system also creates a single channel for application management and worker verification.
