Footwear brand Camper has appointed Ali Can Sarabil as General Manager for its Gulf business. He will oversee operations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain. The move supports Camper’s plan to expand retail and e-commerce in the GCC.

Sarabil recently shared his career journey, which took him from Istanbul to Mallorca and now Dubai. He also expressed gratitude for the trust and support he received along the way.

Nearly a decade of global e-commerce experience

Sarabil brings close to ten years of experience with Camper Gulf. During this time, he led e-commerce and marketplace growth across Turkey, Russia, and the wider EEMEA region. His work focused on digital sales, fulfilment efficiency, and data-driven planning. These efforts helped align regional performance with global goals.

Earlier, he served as E-commerce Manager for Turkey and EEMEA. In that role, he managed Camper’s online channels, including Camper.com and drop shipping platforms. He also ran market analysis and supported sustainability initiatives within digital operations.

Focus on growth and customer experience in the GCC

In his new position, Sarabil will drive retail expansion, marketplace partnerships, and customer experience across Gulf markets. He previously led Amazon FBA and multi-channel fulfilment projects. As a result, he improved logistics efficiency, inventory planning, and seller performance. These strengths are expected to support Camper’s next phase of regional growth.

Overall, the appointment reflects Camper’s focus on digital transformation, sustainability, and consumer-first retail in the Middle East.
