Emirates NBD has temporarily waived several retail banking fees across the UAE and the Gulf region. The move allows customers to withdraw cash and request debit card replacements without extra charges.
The bank confirmed that the fee relief will remain in effect until March 31, 2026. The measure aims to help customers manage their banking needs during a period of regional uncertainty.
Customers received an official email informing them about the temporary removal of charges tied to everyday banking activities.
Free ATM withdrawals across UAE and GCC
Under the new policy, Emirates NBD customers can withdraw cash from any ATM across the UAE and GCC countries without paying additional fees.
Normally, banks charge customers when they use ATMs outside their own banking network. However, this temporary waiver removes those charges and provides easier access to funds for customers traveling across the region.
The initiative ensures customers can continue to access cash without worrying about transaction costs.
Debit card replacement and delivery fees removed
The bank has also waived debit card replacement and delivery fees during the relief period.
Customers can now request a replacement debit card without paying additional charges. The waiver applies to both local and international delivery of cards.
This measure helps customers who may need urgent card replacements due to travel disruptions or lost cards.
Supporting customers during regional disruptions
According to the bank, the initiative aims to support customers during a period of operational disruptions across several sectors in the region.
In its communication to customers, Emirates NBD stated:
“We are waiving fees until March 31, 2026, to help you bank with more convenience and flexibility due to recent regional developments.”
The bank also confirmed that customer support channels remain fully operational for additional assistance.
Temporary relief for everyday banking services
Fee waivers are often introduced during periods of disruption to ensure uninterrupted access to financial services.
By removing ATM withdrawal charges and card replacement fees, Emirates NBD aims to provide short-term relief to customers who rely on multiple banking access points.
However, the bank clarified that the fee waiver is temporary, and standard charges may resume after March 31, 2026.
