National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels (NCTH) has appointed Hesham Mahmoud as Cluster Director of Revenue. The move supports stronger commercial performance across its luxury hotel and resort portfolio in the UAE.

Mahmoud will lead Total Revenue Management for rooms, food and beverage, and MICE. He will also oversee pricing, forecasting, and distribution. In addition, he will align sales, marketing, and operations to improve RevPAR, market share, and long-term asset value.

Focus on data-driven revenue growth

In his new role, Mahmoud will guide budgeting, analytics, and long-term forecasting. He will also build high-performing revenue teams and improve stakeholder reporting. As a result, NCTH aims to strengthen profitability in a competitive luxury hospitality market.

Nearly two decades of UAE hospitality experience

Mahmoud brings close to 20 years of industry experience. Previously, he held senior commercial and revenue roles at Erth Abu Dhabi. There, he led planning, sales growth, and financial performance initiatives.

Earlier, he spent more than a decade at Armed Forces Officers Club and Hotel. During this time, he progressed from reservations and front-office roles to revenue leadership. Therefore, he developed strong operational and commercial expertise across the guest lifecycle.

Strengthening revenue governance across luxury assets

Throughout his career, Mahmoud has focused on forecasting, demand segmentation, and channel optimisation. He has also used benchmarking and analytics to protect rate integrity and improve profitability.

Consequently, his appointment is expected to support stronger revenue governance and sustainable value creation across NCTH’s UAE hospitality assets.
