International Real Estate Partners (IREP) has announced a major leadership transition, appointing Kamran Abbas as Chief Executive Officer. Meanwhile, Kenneth McCrae will assume the role of Executive Chairman after leading the company as CEO.

The Dubai-based real estate and facilities management firm said the transition follows a structured succession plan designed to ensure leadership continuity and support long-term international expansion.

Kamran Abbas to lead next phase of international expansion

Abbas previously served as Chief Financial Officer at IREP. During his tenure, he helped strengthen the company’s financial operations and supported its expansion across the Middle East, India, the United Kingdom, Europe and North America.

As CEO, Abbas will now oversee the company’s strategic direction, executive leadership, client partnerships and operational growth across its core business verticals.

“Kamran’s appointment follows a deliberate and well-planned succession process,” McCrae said. “He combines financial discipline, operational understanding and strategic clarity with a strong commitment to our clients and our people.”

McCrae also highlighted the recent appointment of Peter Doran as Group Chief Operating Officer. He said the move further strengthens IREP’s executive structure and operational platform.

Kenneth McCrae to focus on governance and long-term strategy

In his new role as Executive Chairman, McCrae will continue to guide the company’s long-term strategy, governance framework and key client relationships.

The leadership change comes as IREP continues to expand its integrated real estate and facilities management platform across international markets.

“I am honoured to lead IREP as we enter the next stage of our development,” Abbas said. “Our priorities are clear. We will continue delivering strong outcomes for clients, strengthen capabilities across every market and build a disciplined platform for scalable growth.”

Peter Doran to strengthen operational execution

Doran said the transition ensures continuity across the organisation while reinforcing operational efficiency in global markets.

“From an operational perspective, this is a well-planned and well-supported leadership succession,” Doran said. “Our focus remains on execution, service consistency and delivering value for clients across all regions.”

He added that the leadership team remains aligned on growth priorities and international expansion goals.

IREP expands integrated real estate services platform

IREP provides integrated, technology-enabled real estate and facilities management solutions for institutions, corporations and investors.

The company’s service portfolio includes integrated facilities management, property and asset management, ESG and sustainability advisory, HSE consulting, procurement and compliance solutions, as well as technology-driven data platforms.

The company also continues to invest in operational scalability and regional delivery capabilities as demand for integrated property solutions rises across global markets.
