Dubai’s real estate market logged its highest single-day transaction value on January 26, reaching AED15.6 billion ($4.25 billion), according to data from the Dubai Land Department.
The milestone was driven by 1,501 property transactions completed in a single day, highlighting sustained investor demand and deep liquidity across the emirate’s property sector.
Property sales dominate as investor base widens
Of the total value, AED11.4 billion came from property sales, including land, residential units, and buildings.
The figures also reflected notable activity in mortgages and property gifts, indicating broad-based participation across segments and a steadily diversifying pool of investors.
Market maturity reinforces Dubai’s global investment appeal
Badar Rashid AlBlooshi, Chairman of Arabian Gulf Properties, said the record underscores growing market maturity and stability, further cementing Dubai’s status as a leading global real estate and investment destination.
He noted that achieving AED15.6 billion in transactions within a single day reflects strong confidence among local and international investors and demonstrates the market’s ability to absorb large-scale capital within a competitive global environment.
Economic growth and business expansion driving real demand
AlBlooshi linked the performance to Dubai’s broader economic trajectory, including continued business expansion, corporate growth, and the emirate’s rising role as a regional and global commercial hub—all of which support genuine real estate demand.
He added that the scale and value of recent transactions point to long-term, fundamentals-driven investment activity, suggesting the market is entering a more sustainable phase of growth.
Developers align strategies with long-term investment trends
According to AlBlooshi, Arabian Gulf Properties is responding to the momentum by advancing well-planned developments focused on strategic locations, quality execution, and long-term value creation to meet evolving market needs.
Record activity sets foundation for balanced future growth
He concluded that the historic transaction levels strengthen Dubai’s attractiveness as a primary real estate investment destination and create a foundation for balanced future expansion supported by transparent regulation, advanced infrastructure, and sustained investor confidence.
