The UAE Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications Office, in partnership with Samsung Gulf Electronics, has graduated more than 130 students from across the Emirates.
The announcement was made in Dubai following completion of the Samsung Innovation Program. The programme aims to build future-ready digital skills. It focuses on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data technologies.
Programme structure and learning approach
The training lasted 350 hours and ran from October to mid-December 2025.
Participants studied AI, machine learning, statistics, algorithms, and Python programming. They also learned probability, neural networks, and deep learning. In addition, the course included data science and natural language processing. Learning combined self-paced digital modules with weekly live sessions. Students completed assignments, quizzes, and guided exercises throughout the programme.
Government and industry views
Dr. Abdulrahman Al Mahmoud said talent development is a national priority. He added that strong digital skills improve competitiveness and support the UAE’s AI strategy. He also noted that skills help societies adapt to fast global change. Therefore, investment in knowledge and technology remains essential.
Jerome Hong, President of Samsung Gulf Electronics, said the programme prepares youth for a technology-driven future. He added that advanced AI training helps participants contribute to national innovation goals.
