Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre has appointed Evgenia Miteva as Learning and Development Manager. The move strengthens the hotel’s leadership team as it deepens its focus on talent development and service standards. Located in the heart of DIFC, the property plays a key role in Dubai’s luxury hospitality and business landscape.

Career rooted in global hospitality brands

Evgenia Miteva brings close to a decade of experience across learning, development and human resources. Her career spans leading international hospitality brands in the UAE and Qatar.

Before joining Waldorf Astoria DIFC, she worked in learning and development roles at Palazzo Versace Dubai. She also gained experience at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, focusing on training delivery and capability building.

Earlier, she spent several years at Hilton Doha The Pearl Hotel & Residences. During this time, she progressed from human resources roles into learning-focused responsibilities. This journey shaped a strong understanding of hotel operations, employee engagement and leadership development.

Her academic background in international hospitality management supports her practical experience. Together, these strengths allow her to design learning programmes aligned with brand standards and operational priorities.

Supporting long-term talent strategy

The appointment supports Waldorf Astoria DIFC’s focus on leadership continuity and employee retention. Learning and development plays a central role in maintaining service consistency within luxury hospitality.
