Joe Lahoud has been named Regional President for the Middle East and Africa at Kärcher, according to a company announcement. The role expands his remit from Middle East leadership to oversight of a unified MEA region spanning 68 countries and managed from the regional headquarters in Dubai.
Role and responsibilities
In his expanded capacity, Lahoud will oversee integration of Middle Eastern and African operations within a single governance and distribution framework. He will guide regional sales, dealer development, logistics, digital channels, and access to Kärcher’s portfolio of more than 1,000 professional and consumer cleaning solutions across multiple industries.
Career background
Lahoud has served as President for Kärcher’s Middle East region since 2020, leading operations across multiple countries, regional dealer networks, and direct B2B and retail channels. Before joining Kärcher, he was Group Chief Executive Officer at Marzooq S. Al Shamlan Holding in Qatar, where he restructured diversified business units, established governance frameworks, and supported revenue and profitability growth across automotive, retail, logistics, and trading sectors.
Earlier roles included General Manager at RTS Investment Group in Dubai, regional leadership at Al-Futtaim’s FAMCO commercial vehicles business, and division management responsibilities across the GCC with Olayan Financing Company.
Education
Lahoud holds an Executive Master’s degree in Business Administration from the American University of Sharjah and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Marketing from the Lebanese American University. He has also completed executive leadership and management programmes at IMD, Volvo Truck Corporation, and Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education.
