ZEA Dubai announced the appointment of Benoit Perelli as general manager on January 14, 2026. The announcement was made in Dubai. The venue is set to open this month at Emirates Financial Towers in DIFC. The move sets the leadership structure before operations begin.

What changed at ZEA Dubai

ZEA Dubai has now confirmed its operational leadership ahead of launch. To begin with, the company appointed Benoit Perelli to lead all venue operations. He brings more than 15 years of experience across Dubai and Europe. Over the years, his work has focused on pre-opening planning and high-volume restaurant management. Previously, he held roles at San Beach, Josette, Fouquet’s Dubai, Twiggy by La Cantine, and La Cantine du Faubourg.

Until now, ZEA Dubai had not named a leader for day-to-day operations. However, this appointment completes the venue’s management structure. At the same time, it supports the brand’s entry into the DIFC dining market. The venue will operate as a modern Mediterranean dining and lounge concept. As the evening develops, the format will move from dining into late-night service.

Impact on DIFC dining and hospitality

As a result, ZEA Dubai moves closer to full operational readiness for launch. In this role, Perelli will oversee service standards, staffing frameworks, and the full guest journey. In addition, he will manage brand execution across both dining and lounge formats. Together, these responsibilities play a central role within DIFC’s competitive food and beverage sector.

In response to the appointment, founder Prateek Chitkara said Perelli’s experience supports the venue’s service objectives. Meanwhile, Perelli said ZEA Dubai’s focus on ritual-led dining and nightlife aligns with his hospitality philosophy. The company shared both statements as part of the official announcement.

What comes next for ZEA Dubai

Looking ahead, ZEA Dubai will open at Emirates Financial Towers in DIFC in January 2026. For context, the concept draws inspiration from the Mediterranean “grain of life.” Accordingly, the menu will focus on clean flavours, fire-led cooking, and subtle Peruvian influences. From day one, the venue will operate under the leadership of its newly appointed general manager.
