Siemens Energy has elevated Monaam Htiouech to the role of Vice President – Head of Gas Service Sales Middle East, reinforcing the company’s leadership focus on expanding its service business across the region.
Based in Dubai, Htiouech brings more than two decades of international experience spanning sales, marketing, project management, and strategic business leadership. His appointment marks another milestone in a career defined by regional growth, customer engagement, and large-scale energy sector projects.
Over Two Decades of Global Energy Leadership
Throughout his career, Htiouech has held several senior leadership positions within Siemens Energy and Siemens LLC. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Sales Middle East at Siemens Energy, where he played a key role in strengthening customer partnerships and driving commercial expansion across the region.
Before that, he led operations as Head of Field Sales Sub Region and previously managed strategic sales functions in Saudi Arabia as VP Sales KSA and Head of Field Sales KSA – Utilities/IPP. His earlier roles also included Regional Sales Manager for the Middle East and North Africa, along with Regional Marketing Manager for Europe and Africa.
In addition, his experience extends across Germany, South Korea, Europe, Africa, and the wider Middle East. This broad international exposure has helped him develop strong expertise in stakeholder management, regional market expansion, and long-term service partnerships within the power generation industry.
Focus on Gas Services and Regional Collaboration
In his new role, Htiouech is expected to lead Siemens Energy’s gas service sales operations across the Middle East while supporting customer-focused initiatives in the evolving energy landscape. His background in managing multi-billion-dollar projects and fostering international collaborations aligns with the region’s growing investment in energy infrastructure and transition technologies.
Furthermore, his leadership comes at a time when energy companies across the Gulf region are accelerating efforts to modernize infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen long-term sustainability strategies.
Strong Academic and Multilingual Background
Htiouech holds engineering and management qualifications from leading European institutions, including Technical University of Munich and Ecole centrale de Paris. He also completed an MBA at Collège des Ingénieurs.
Moreover, he speaks English, Arabic, German, and French, reflecting his extensive cross-border leadership experience in international markets.
