EFG International AG has appointed Ranjit Khanna as Chief Executive Officer of its Dubai Advisory Office, effective 26 August 2026. Ranjit Khanna will lead the continued development and growth of the office in the Dubai International Financial Centre and the United Arab Emirates.

The appointment places Ranjit Khanna at the head of one of EFG International’s strategic growth hubs in the Middle East. He will report to Patrick Ramsey, Head of Continental Europe and Middle East at EFG International.

Under the strategic leadership of Soha Nashaat, Executive Chairwoman of EFG International Middle East, Ranjit Khanna will lead the Dubai Advisory Office as EFG International pursues its growth ambitions in the UAE.

Ranjit Khanna brings more than three decades of private banking experience

Before joining EFG International, Ranjit Khanna served as DIFC Chief Executive at Bank of Singapore. He also led the bank’s private banking business for clients across the Middle East, Europe and Global South Asia.

Ranjit Khanna brings more than 30 years of international private banking experience. His career has included senior leadership roles at Swiss and international financial institutions across Asia and the Middle East.

A Singaporean national, Ranjit Khanna began his banking career in New York.

Patrick Ramsey said Ranjit Khanna’s regional experience and leadership background made him well suited to lead the Dubai Advisory Office. He added that Dubai remains one of EFG International’s important strategic locations.

“His deep regional experience, leadership capabilities and proven track record make him an excellent choice to lead our Dubai Advisory Office,” Patrick Ramsey said.

Patrick Ramsey added that Ranjit Khanna will work with Soha Nashaat and EFG International’s wider regional leadership team to strengthen the Group’s UAE franchise. The role will also support the execution of EFG International’s broader Middle East strategy.

Role supports EFG International’s UAE growth plans

EFG International has tasked Ranjit Khanna with leading the continued development and growth of its Dubai Advisory Office. The role also supports the Group’s ambitions in the UAE and its wider strategy for the Middle East.

Soha Nashaat said Dubai remains central to EFG International’s long term ambitions in the region. She added that Ranjit Khanna’s appointment strengthens the company’s leadership team in the Middle East.

“Ranjit’s appointment further strengthens our leadership team, and I look forward to working closely with him and the Dubai team as we continue to deepen our client relationships, expand our capabilities and execute our strategic priorities across the region,” Soha Nashaat said.

The appointment adds another senior leader to EFG International’s regional management structure. Ranjit Khanna will work alongside Soha Nashaat and the wider leadership team as the Group develops its business in the UAE and across the Middle East.

EFG International has expanded its Dubai Advisory Office since 2019

EFG International opened its Dubai Advisory Office in 2019. The office has since expanded and now employs more than 60 professionals serving private banking clients across the region.

Dubai is one of EFG International’s strategic growth hubs and supports the Group’s long term ambitions in the Middle East.
