Marsh has appointed Polina Mihaljevic as FINPRO Growth Leader for the UAE Cluster, reinforcing its strategic focus on financial and professional lines (FINPRO) in the region.
The appointment comes as Marsh continues to expand its capabilities across the Middle East, targeting rising demand for complex risk and insurance solutions among financial institutions and corporates.
Two decades of global insurance and risk expertise
Mihaljevic brings over 20 years of experience in global insurance, banking, and asset management. She has managed large-scale corporate insurance programmes across multiple jurisdictions, with expertise spanning professional indemnity, directors and officers (D&O), crime, and transactional risk cover.
Prior to joining Marsh, she served as Group Insurance Manager at Schroders. She also spent over seven years at Barclays, where she held senior roles in group insurance.
Earlier in her career, Mihaljevic worked with Marsh & McLennan Companies in London, building strong relationships within the global insurance market.
Role to drive FINPRO growth across UAE market
In her new role, Mihaljevic will lead growth initiatives across Marsh’s FINPRO portfolio in the UAE. Her focus will include expanding client relationships, developing tailored risk solutions, and strengthening insurer partnerships.

Mihaljevic holds the ACII designation from the Chartered Insurance Institute, reflecting her technical expertise in insurance and risk management.
She is also known for combining deep technical knowledge with strong market relationships, enabling her to deliver cost-effective and resilient insurance strategies aligned with broader business objectives.
